The Great Turkish Shave

Brett was in need of a shave on our trip so decided to visit one of the local Turkish barbers for a shave. Here he is pre-shave looking a little hairy and a little nervous!

He got all lathered up and shaved with an old school razor. The nervous look stayed the whole time.
But the look turned from nervous to terrified when the barber pulled out the firestick! Or the "chicken kebab" as the old barber told us. It was pretty funny - its purpose is to singe the hairs sticking out of the ears.
Post-shave looking clean and a lot more relaxed. After Brett had a go, his dad and Ed the other guy we were travelling with had a shave as well. They all wanted a turn of the "chicken kebab"!
